Why I Started
My husband went to one class at GRK and then didn’t stop raving about how great it was for the next two hours after he got home! I went to the next class with him, and we’ve been a part of the club ever since.

 

Why I Like Shidokan
I like that it is natural movement, but with focus of mind and body. There’s a right way to do things, but not just one right way.

 

What I Enjoy About Teaching
I first started helping out with the kids’ class ‘cause small children scare me! Give me teenagers any day! I really like watching the kids figure out their first katas and gain confidence.

 

Other Interests
Cooking, hanging out with my hubby Doug, reading, making cookies for Iha Sensei!
